LIVE Updates: Maharashtra Exit Polls Predict Mahayuti Likely to Win Tight Contest with MVA

Maharashtra Exit Poll Results 2024 LIVE Updates:

Two pollsters have projected that the ruling Mahayuti alliance is likely to secure a majority in the Maharashtra assembly elections. However, the predictions indicate a closely contested race with the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).

Maharashtra conducted its assembly elections in a single phase on Wednesday, with the final results scheduled to be declared on November 23. The BJP-led Mahayuti is striving to retain power, while the MVA, comprising the Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena (UBT), aims for a strong resurgence. Voting for all 288 constituencies began at 7 a.m. and concluded at 6 p.m.

The voter turnout remained moderate, amidst controversies such as the alleged bitcoin scam and allegations of cash distribution. Despite the cessation of campaigning 48 hours before voting, political tensions continued to simmer, involving prominent figures like NCP’s Supriya Sule, Congress’s Nana Patole, and BJP’s Vinod Tawde.

With voting concluded, exit poll predictions have taken center stage. Stay connected
